  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for outdoor spaces, including lawn care, pruning, and planting.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct site assessments to determine resource requirements, estimate costs, and develop project plans.
  • Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction of outdoor structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate with contractors and staff to deliver high-quality landscape construction projects.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and track work progress, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Tender and Administer Contracts: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and contractors, ensuring fair prices and timely delivery.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret and apply technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and tools, ensuring optimal performance and extending lifespan.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Identify and address work-related issues, providing guidance and support to staff to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures, ensuring smooth project execution and staff productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
