Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at GP LANDSCAPING. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and construction of outdoor spaces, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscapers and gardeners, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are well-maintained and look their best.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Create detailed plans and estimates for landscape construction projects, ensuring that we stay within budget and meet deadlines.
  • Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction of outdoor structures, ensuring that they are built to the highest standards and meet our clients' expectations.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate and supervise the construction of landscape projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Keep accurate records of work completed, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues that arose during the project.
  • Tender and Administer Contracts: Negotiate and administer contracts with clients, ensuring that we meet our obligations and deliver exceptional results.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure that our team has a clear understanding of the project requirements.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure that our equipment is well-maintained and in good working order, reducing downtime and improving efficiency.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Identify and resolve issues that arise during projects, providing technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement work schedules and procedures, ensuring that our team is efficient and effective.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: Anglais
  • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
