Job Summary

Crawford & Company is seeking a highly skilled Content Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Content Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in the accurate and timely processing of content claims, utilizing our claims handling methodology and content claims processing and pricing platform, exclaim.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct onsite visits to meet with adjusters and policyholders, and conduct inventories of total loss contents.
  • Ensure consistent and quality turnaround of all claims, adhering to company productivity and performance standards.
  • Work with support teams to organize and direct resources required for completing inventories and LKQ valuations of total loss contents.
  • Adhere to timely and informative updates on the content claims process to adjusters and policyholders.
  • Complete and submit detailed work and time logs daily, for all claim tasks completed.
  • Maintain claim-related notes in the Company's platform, exclaim, related to various tasks involved in handling the claim.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion and pricing of all outstanding items, adhering to Like, Kind and Quality (LKQ) standards.
  • Consistently promote Crawford & Company's brand, image, and reputation in a professional and positive manner.
Requirements
  • A Secondary School diploma.
  • Ability to work independently in most circumstances, with minimal supervision.
  • Some prior background or experience in the Property claims industry would be considered an asset.
  • Be able to provide an adequate workspace, free of noise.
  • Employee must provide their own high-speed internet service.
  • Company equipment, including a laptop, will be provided. It is the employee's responsibility to care and maintain the equipment, as per policy.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required, any business-related expense would be covered by Crawford & Company.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office/Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and new technology.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
