Senior Property Field Claims Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Field Claims Representative to join our team in the Thunder Bay region and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate complex commercial and personal lines property claims through effective communication with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Handle field tasks on behalf of telephone adjusters, ensuring timely and respectful resolution of claims.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering queries and addressing concerns related to the claims process.
- Document claim files by gathering reports and statements from relevant parties, including customers, appraisers, and experts.
- Analyze information, interpret insurance policy wording, and determine coverage to assess damage.
- Negotiate with customers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims within established authority limits.
- Stay up-to-date with insurance products, appraisal, and investigation techniques.
- University degree or college diploma, or equivalent business experience.
- 5-7 years of experience handling personal and commercial property claims, with at least partly acquired experience in the field.
- Strong passion for customer service, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong aptitude for technology, with excellent computer skills.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to travel on short notice.
