Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at BC LTD dba McDonalds Restaurants. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, odours, wet/damp, hot, and outdoors.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, various locations, and fast food outlet or concession.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding.
