Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Grand Forks Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive and welcoming experience for all customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing a clear and concise overview of our food service operations.
As a Food Service Supervisor at Grand Forks Dairy Queen Grill & Chill, you will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure to meet customer demand. You will be required to maintain a high level of physical fitness, as the role involves standing, walking, and lifting.
Requirements:- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
