About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cable Installation Specialist to join our team at Wipro Comnet Inc. as a Telecommunications Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, as well as testing trunking systems and installing cable modems to enable Internet access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Cable Signals: Ensure that cable signals are functioning properly and make any necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Install and Maintain Equipment: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable modems and software.
  • Test Trunking Systems: Test trunking systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and make any necessary repairs.
  • Complete Reports: Complete and maintain test and service reports to document work completed.
  • Work at Heights: Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures to install and maintain equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
