About the Role

CAT Technologies is seeking a skilled Cable Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, as well as ensuring the integrity of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable signals and associated equipment.
  • Signal Testing and Repair: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to identify and repair faults.
  • Equipment Installation and Configuration: Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access, and configure equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Test equipment to locate transmission faults and repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
  • Work at Heights: Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures to install and maintain equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and efficient installation and maintenance of our network infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
