This role will play a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing expert technical support and maintenance for our internal cloud hosting infrastructure and Microsoft online stack.
Key Responsibilities- Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Administer and maintain our internal cloud hosting infrastructure, including server and network support, remote app/RDS administration, and security processes.
- Monitor and manage disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
- Technical Support and Assistance
- Provide expert technical assistance and support to customers, including understanding of Microsoft online licensing requirements and optimization.
- Support customer systems, specifically Azure Active Directory and Microsoft cloud technology.
- Process Optimization and Automation
- Optimize processes and engineer task automation as needed to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Incident Management
- Actively monitor incident management system queues, documenting incident and problem resolutions, workarounds, and RCAs for all incidents.
- Microsoft Dynamics GP Support
- Support existing clients with Dynamics GP, including upgrades, migration, and technical support as required.
- Education
- Post-secondary education in IT.
- Knowledge and Experience
- Proven track record with administering Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure, Entra, business applications, and MSSQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset.
- Skills
- Efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment.
- Energetic and hands-on.
- Resourceful with advanced problem-solving skills, requiring minimal supervision.
