Patient Food Service Operations Manager

The Patient Food Service Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Patient Food department, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee all activities of the Patient Food Operation, with a focus on Quality Assurance, Dietetic Undertakings, Food Safety, and Occupational Health & Safety.
- Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and evaluation to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the department.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and job routines to meet the needs of the Retail Operation.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of retail operational equipment and procedural logs to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Collaborate with support departments, such as Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety, to maintain responsibility and accountability for personnel management functions.
- Manage financial resources, ensuring costs and expenses are controlled and aligned with departmental goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and suppliers.
- 1-3 years' supervisory experience in Patient Food Service Operation or equivalent education/training.
- Advanced (Level 2) Food Safety Certification.
- Successful Vulnerable Police Check.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and appearance.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions in English.
