1 - Culinary Service Supervisor

We provide permanent full-time positions, with a schedule of 40 hours per week. Compensation: $17 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
Culinary Service Supervisor Duties
Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the activities of team members involved in food preparation and service Assess and procure ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation Compile food order summaries for the chef based on requests from dietitians, patients, or other clients Develop work schedules and operational procedures Maintain records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste Train newly hired staff in food service responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols Supervise and verify the assembly of regular and specialized diet trays and the delivery of food to clients Ensure that food quality and service adhere to established standards May assist in the recruitment of food service personnel and contribute to the formulation of policies, procedures, and budgets Address customer inquiries or complaints in a prompt and professional manner May undertake other related tasks as requiredFood Operations Attendant Skills
Portion and package food items Maintain records of food usage Prepare, heat, and finalize simple food items Take customer orders Utilize manual and electrical appliances for food preparation Package take-out meals and serve customers at counters or buffet setups Restock refrigerators and salad barsQualifications
Strong work ethic Punctual and a good team player Training is provided for Food Operations Attendant roles. Newcomers to Canada, youth, and Indigenous individuals are encouraged to apply 2 - 3 years of relevant experience is preferred for candidates interested in the Culinary Service Supervisor role.-
