Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and kitchen and food service helpers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure accurate inventory management and cost control.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
