Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Five Kites Hospitality Inc. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage a team of food service staff, including scheduling, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports, ensuring that our financial goals are met.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that our inventory levels are optimized.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
Work Environment

As a Shift Manager at Five Kites Hospitality Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet our high standards of quality and customer service.
