Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Supervisor to join our team at SP Trucklines Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and resolving work problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating Activities: Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and achieve organizational goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve work problems, providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Work Environment

The Transportation Operations Supervisor will work in a fast-paced transportation environment, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Private sector, transportation industry
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
