Regional Advanced Group Specialist

Role Overview
As a Regional Advanced Group Specialist at Northbridge Financial Corporation, you will play a crucial role in the growth of the Group Employee Benefits business. This position requires a unique blend of sales, relationship-building, and advisory skills to drive business growth and provide integrated Group Benefits sales and advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key agency partner advisors, key brokers, and top productive advisors.
- Review contract booklets and work with group carriers' account managers to prepare market specification analysis and quotes.
- Provide benefit solution alternatives for incumbent plans, focusing on cost savings, benefits enhancements, and implementing proactive solutions.
- Negotiate new and/or renewal rates with group benefits providers on behalf of advisors.
- Lead and conduct group benefits client meetings – in person or virtual.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education and/or equivalent on-the-job experience.
- Life and A&S license.
- Minimum 5 to 7+ years' experience in the insurance industry.
- Strong comfort level meeting with clients in an advisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of insurance trends.
