About the Role
Polytechnicpositions is seeking a highly accomplished and visionary scholar to join our esteemed faculty as a Tenured Professor of Robotics for Healthcare Applications. This is an exceptional opportunity for a distinguished expert in the field to contribute to the advancement of robotics in healthcare and inspire the next generation of innovators.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead cutting-edge research in robotics for healthcare applications, with a focus on medical robotics, assistive robotic systems, and soft medical devices.
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in robotics, computer engineering, and related fields, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments and institutions to advance interdisciplinary research and education in robotics and healthcare.
- Contribute to the development of new research programs, initiatives, and partnerships that align with Polytechnicpositions' strategic goals.
- Engage in service activities that promote the growth and visibility of the robotics community, both within and outside the institution.
Requirements
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Established reputation as a leading expert in robotics for healthcare applications, with a strong track record of research, teaching, and service.
- Experience in leading research teams, securing funding, and collaborating with industry partners.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
