New-Life Mills is a Canadian-owned manufacturer of livestock nutrition since 1964. With five production facilities and a dedicated team of experts in species management, nutrition, and production, our commitment to the best possible inputs, feed, and services for broiler chickens, eggs, turkey, beef, dairy, and swine is the driving force behind our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement beef sales strategies to drive sales in Southwestern Ontario.
- Provide regular market intelligence to the Ruminant Business Manager to maintain competitive advantage.
- Organize beef farm visits to evaluate and determine farm needs and then coordinate with our beef nutritionist to help build appropriate resources.
- Partner with beef farm managers to identify issues and create solutions to support farm goals.
- Promote and educate customers/prospects on the benefits of using NLM products for beef.
- Ration balancing using CowBytes software program, while working collaboratively with a central nutrition team.
- Organize beef producer meetings and be actively involved at industry trade shows.
- Continuing education, attending conferences and/or professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in the beef industry.
- Possess a valid Canadian driver's license in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during your employment.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Beef Market and Feed Industry.
- Personable with the ability to communicate well with people of diverse background and levels of authority.
