Program Manager for Open Source Strategy and Operations

AWS Open Source is seeking an experienced and skilled Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Open Source Strategy and Marketing team, you will be responsible for driving high-visibility, strategic programs that directly impact customer experience and perception.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute complex projects, drive operational process improvements, and manage key aspects of project execution
- Collaborate with business and development teams to analyze project selection cost-benefit and manage project execution
- Work closely with teams across Amazon Web Services marketing to drive key programs and initiatives
- Proactively gather data, conduct root cause analysis, and define functional requirements and specifications
- Implement and manage Open Source Foundations Strategy, maintain relationships with open source software foundations and standards bodies, and define technical changes for new projects
- Develop working project plans, track milestones, deliverables, deadlines, and post-mortems
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements, experience with Excel or Tableau, and experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns
- Experience managing budgets and using customer research, hard data, and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
