Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Freight Transport Specialist to join our team at Get Go Transportation Inc. as a Over the Road Truck Driver. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long haul truck driving and be proficient in operating a variety of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive safely and efficiently along designated routes, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring proper securing and documentation.
  • Monitor vehicle condition and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other stakeholders regarding route changes, delays, or issues.
  • Meet or exceed performance targets, including punctuality, fuel efficiency, and customer satisfaction.


Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Experience in long haul truck driving and freight transport.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of long-distance driving.


Working Conditions:

  • Regularly work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be away from home for extended periods, sometimes up to several weeks at a time.
