At GOLDEN WHEELS TRANSPORT LTD., we are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, often crossing international borders. Your primary duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, often crossing international borders
  • Loading and unloading goods at various locations
  • Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Coaching colleagues on new methods or work techniques
  • Addressing customers' complaints or concerns

Requirements:

  • Valid Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Basic security clearance
  • Valid passport
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
