Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver - Over the Road

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Canada Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments and pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo

Requirements:

  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, and inspection report
  • Driving record check (abstract)

Work Environment: This is a permanent position with 40 to 60 hours of work per week. The work language is English, and parking is available.
