Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team at NAILS FOR YOU UPPER CANADA MALL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring high-quality services, and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of our nail technicians to ensure efficient use of resources and meet customer demand.
  • Monitor Quality and Production Levels: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure our nail services meet the highest standards, and monitor production levels to optimize efficiency.
  • Oversee Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure our salon is clean, organized, and well-maintained, including the cleaning of specialty and difficult items.
  • Requisition and Order Materials: Source and procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain our high standards.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead, motivate, and direct the activities of our nail technicians, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to excel in their roles.
  • Train Staff and Promote a Positive Work Environment: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff skills, safety procedures, and company policies, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Combination of Sitting, Standing, and Walking: Our salon is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods, with regular opportunities to sit and walk.
