Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

NAILS FOR YOU UPPER CANADA MALL is seeking a skilled Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nail care team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of our nail technicians to ensure that our salon is fully staffed during peak hours.
  • Monitor Quality and Production Levels: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that our nail technicians are meeting our high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Oversee Cleaning of Specialty and Difficult Items: Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of our nail equipment and tools to ensure that they are in good working condition.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of our nail salon, ensuring that we have the necessary materials and supplies to meet our high standards of quality.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot any issues that may arise in the salon and provide technical advice to our nail technicians to help them improve their skills and productivity.
  • Supervise, Co-ordinate and Schedule (and Possibly Review) Activities of Workers: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our nail technicians, ensuring that they are meeting our high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Train Staff/Workers in Job Duties, Safety Procedures and Company Policies: Provide training and guidance to our nail technicians on their job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Personal Suitability: The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
