Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team at NAILS FOR YOU UPPER CANADA MALL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of our nail technicians to ensure efficient use of resources and meet customer demand.
  • Monitor Quality and Production Levels: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that our nail services meet our high standards, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure that our salon is clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
  • Requisition and Order Materials: Source and purchase high-quality materials and supplies to support our nail services.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot any issues that arise during service delivery, and provide technical guidance to our nail technicians to improve their skills and productivity.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the activities of our nail technicians, and coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Train Staff and Workers: Provide ongoing training and coaching to our nail technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
Work Environment:

Our nail salon is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Nail Salon Supervisor, you will be working in a noisy and odorous environment, with frequent exposure to chemicals and other substances.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, reliable, and a team player.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent standing for extended periods. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
