About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric services to children and adolescents, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of new programs and services
  • Contribute to the training and education of medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Provisional
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Eligible
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong community collaborative skills
  • Good knowledge of child relational/developmental/psychotherapeutic theory and practice
  • Collaboration with other community service providers
  • Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary mental health team
