Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Richmond Hospital. As a key member of our Department of Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions in children and adolescents
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Prescribe and monitor medications as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of new programs and services
  • Collaborate with other community service providers and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Medical Degree and eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Specialist qualifications in psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License - Full
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Mandatory
