Work Site: Richmond School Program

Status: Permanent – Part Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Child Psychiatrist to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a Child Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing assessments and evidence-informed treatments to children in conjunction with their families and school-based personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for children with mental health issues
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and teachers
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of new programs and services
  • Provide training and education to medical students, residents, and other allied health professionals

Requirements:

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • Good knowledge of child relational/developmental/psycho therapeutic theory and practice
