Regional Sales Manager

About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager will be a key member of the Particle Processing Team (PPT) at IDEX Corporation, responsible for driving sales growth in North America. This role will involve developing and executing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Fitzpatrick and Quadro products in North America, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
  • Lead business development efforts, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and electronic outreach.
  • Develop and win new sales opportunities, working closely with the Director of New Machine Sales - PPT to achieve regional sales targets and group Annual Operating Plans (AOP).
  • Manage existing channel partners, appointing new representatives as needed, and working with them to develop opportunities and future business.
  • Provide regular contact with existing customers, supporting service and after-sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on marketing plans, developing content, providing feedback on campaigns, and facilitating seminars and trade shows.
  • Ensure the group's CRM database (Dynamics 365) is actively managed, using database information to analyze territory trends, representative effectiveness, and areas of focus.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience selling capital equipment.
  • Experience managing commissioned sales representatives and distributors.
  • Demonstration of negotiation and sales with senior customer leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and capability to travel worldwide.
  • Aptitude for technical consultation and product configuration.
  • Post-secondary technical training (degree or diploma in an engineering discipline preferred).
  • Spanish fluency is considered an asset.
