We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at 902776 N.W.T. Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and sales data to optimize kitchen operations
  • Analyze financial data to inform menu planning and cost control decisions
  • Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including specialty foods and meals for guests and functions
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
  • Consult with clients on wedding, banquet, and specialty function menus
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities across multiple restaurants
  • Develop and implement menu plans that meet quality and safety standards
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling procedures
  • Supervise and mentor sous chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
