Job Description

About the Position

This position is responsible for providing professional psychiatric nursing services to adult patients with complex health needs. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical and mental health status and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of service
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A graduate degree in Nursing from an approved program
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
  • Experience working in a psychiatric setting, preferably with adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
