About the Role
EightSix Network is seeking a highly skilled General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential property in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of the building, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a high level of service and quality.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the apartment rental process, including optimizing human resources and streamlining business processes.
- Ensure effective communication throughout the complex, including disseminating information to residents and staff.
- Manage rent collection and deposits, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Optimize human resources to support operational and financial efficiency objectives.
- Plan and execute tenant arrivals and departures, ensuring the safety and security of the building and its occupants.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervise outside contractors working in the building, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work with the team to ensure their skills and knowledge are up-to-date and maintained.
Requirements
- 3 years of relevant experience in property management.
- Bilingualism (oral and written) in English and French.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A working knowledge of property management software systems (Hopem is an asset).
- Experience in personnel management.
