The Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for developing and executing sales and relationship management strategies to drive commercial outcomes for our designated clients. This involves engaging in consultative selling, bringing thought leadership to key stakeholders, and serving as the primary point of escalation for client issues.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, with the ability to foster productive relationships at all levels within client institutions and the Interac organization. You will also possess excellent strategic thinking, planning, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across all levels of an organization.

  • Develop and execute account plans to identify new sales and revenue-generating opportunities
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to ensure profitable outcomes for both Interac and its clients
  • Deepen existing relationships in a competitive environment
  • Foster productive relationships at all levels within client institutions and the Interac organization

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree, ideally in Commerce or Business Administration
  • 10+ years of sales and relationship management experience in the financial services industry, preferably in payments
