Corporate Legal Support Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our team at Taylor MacLellan Cochrane.
Job DescriptionThis is a permanent full-time position requiring 37.5 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or equivalent education, as well as 1-2 years of experience in the field.
- Coordinating administrative services and performing clerical duties such as maintaining filing systems
- Drafting contracts, preparing promissory notes, and drawing up wills, mortgages, and other legal documents
- Preparing wills, real estate transactions, and other legal documents, court reports, and affidavits
- Drafting legal correspondence
The selected candidate must be available for the advertised start date, currently reside in proximity to the location, and have no prior convictions.
Requirements- Certifications: In-house training from a law firm or law clerk program
- Computer skills: Proficiency in legal software applications, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, and WordPerfect
- Physical abilities: Work under pressure with tight deadlines and attention to detail
- Personal qualities: Accurate, excellent oral communication, organized, dependable, and a team player
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
