About the Role

Mace is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scheduler to join our team. As a Senior Scheduler, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of our construction activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Comprehensive Plans: Create detailed plans for design and construction sequencing, ensuring that activities are strategically planned to minimize disruption to existing operations.
  • Coordinate with Teams: Collaborate with various teams to ensure that activities are coordinated and planned effectively.
  • Analyze Project Requirements: Analyze project requirements, logistics, and constraints to optimize construction timelines and resources.
  • Optimize Construction Timelines: Use your expertise to optimize construction timelines and resources, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure Safety and Quality: Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in a safe and controlled manner, with a focus on quality and compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in planning and staging for large infrastructure projects, preferably in the railway industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, logistics planning, and resource management, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional Development: Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
