Job Title: Cardiology Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and certified Cardiology Technologist to join our team at MyHealth Centre. As a Cardiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all cardiac testing techniques, including Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter scanning, Holter monitoring, and ambulatory BP monitoring in compliance with industry guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patient identification, safety, and preparation are correct prior to testing while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Perform all cardiac testing techniques, including ECG testing, stress testing, Holter scanning, Holter monitoring, and ambulatory BP monitoring in compliance with industry guidelines.
  • Ensure all quality control assessments are performed as required.
  • Take all reasonable precautions and work in compliance with related policies, health and safety legislation, and best practices.
  • Follow procedures for proper equipment maintenance and ensure equipment and instruments are performing in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Prepare reports as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Completion of a Cardiology program recognized by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists and eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT).
  • Current CPR certificate.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
