About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Registered Cardiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing noninvasive cardiac diagnostic tests, including electrocardiograms, signal average electrocardiograms, ambulatory monitoring, and stress testing. You will work closely with cardiologists to prepare patients for testing and provide high-quality care to patients undergoing these procedures.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in cardiology technology. You will have a Grade 12 diploma and a successful completion of a Cardiology Technology program or an acceptable equivalent. You will also have current registration and good standing with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists. Recent clinical experience in an ECG department and demonstrated proficiency in performing EKGs, Holter Monitors, and Stress Testing are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required.

Hours and Compensation

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be required to travel to other sites as needed. The hourly rate is $30.83, and you may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
