Senior Property Administrator/Assistant Property Manager

Our client, a leading commercial real estate investment firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Administrator/Assistant Property Manager to join their property management team in Laval, Quebec. This is a full-time, permanent position that reports directly into the Senior Property Manager. The successful candidate will assist in the management of a commercial portfolio of retail assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenant requests and manage tenant information.
  • Handle office management tasks, including record keeping, banking, and reception.
  • Prepare and review monthly accounts receivable and property management reports.
  • Collect and record tenant sales, rent payments, and insurance certificates.
  • Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and support collections.
  • Assist in marketing projects and facilitate specialty leasing agreements.
  • Support the Property Manager with additional tasks like year-end reports and audits

Requirements:
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Minimum 5 years of property management experience, ideally in commercial real estate.
  • Professional exposure to retail assets is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and experience with MRI, Avid, Yardi, or SEAS is an asset.
  • Team-oriented with strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Positive attitude and the ability to take initiative
  • Post-secondary education is an asset but not required

Compensation:

The successful candidate will receive an annual base salary between $70,000-$85,000 dependent on experience, comprehensive benefit package fully paid by employer including RRSP matching, wellness benefit, professional membership reimbursement and educational assistance.
