Senior Property Administrator/Assistant Property Manager

Our client, a leading commercial real estate investment firm, is seeking a Senior Property Administrator/Assistant Property Manager to join their property management team. This is a full-time, permanent position that reports directly into the Senior Property Manager. The successful candidate will assist in the management of a commercial portfolio of retail assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for tenant requests and manage tenant information.
- Handle office management tasks, including record keeping, banking, and reception.
- Prepare and review monthly accounts receivable and property management reports.
- Collect and record tenant sales, rent payments, and insurance certificates.
- Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and support collections.
- Assist in marketing projects and facilitate specialty leasing agreements.
- Support the Property Manager with additional tasks like year-end reports and audits
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Minimum 5 years of property management experience, ideally in commercial real estate.
- Professional exposure to retail assets is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and experience with MRI, Avid, Yardi, or SEAS is an asset.
- Team-oriented with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Positive attitude and the ability to take initiative.
- Post-secondary education is an asset but not required.
What We Offer:
The successful candidate will receive an annual base salary between $70,000-$85,000 dependent on experience, comprehensive benefit package fully paid by employer including RRSP matching, wellness benefit, professional membership reimbursement and educational assistance.
