The Accounts Payable Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Livingston International's financial transactions. This position is responsible for handling high-volume intercompany matching and producing complex freight transaction reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and match intercompany transactions to ensure timely clearance.
- Prepare and distribute unbilled freight transaction reports, and follow up with operations to resolve any discrepancies.
- Process freight payables, including:
- Matching invoices with supporting documents.
- Verifying invoice payment information in the relevant system.
- Obtaining approval for invoices and handling queries regarding payments, credits, and invoices.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices or billing.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and photocopying.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with diplomacy and tact.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables.
- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems (such as CODA) is an asset.
