Job Title: Site Manager (Electrical)

InVision is a professional recruitment firm specializing in engineering, industrial, and skilled trades. We are working with a global company that co-creates local solutions to solve global challenges. They are seeking a Site Manager (Electrical) to join their team on a long-term project.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and coordinate on-site activities with the project manager, including local resources, equipment, and milestones.
  2. Coordinate with customers and external resources to ensure successful execution of start-up, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning activities.
  3. Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and local organizations to ensure their support of field activities.
  4. Ensure a detailed and up-to-date construction Health & Safety (H&S) plan is in place, compliant with the H&S plan.
  5. Manage sub-contractors on-site to ensure quality and progress are achieved to meet delivery dates and agreed standards.
  6. Control project cost for the project site work, monitoring actual spend against forecasts.
  7. Ensure all documentation is modified and updated as necessary.
  8. Lead and develop the area of responsibility, ensuring it is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 12+ years' experience as a Site Manager on construction projects with a medium level of complexity.
  2. Electrician background or equivalent qualification.
  3. Demonstrable understanding of Terms and Conditions typically used on Construction type Contracts.
  4. Willingness to relocate worldwide for the duration of the project.
  5. Experience in Civil Works, Installation, and/or Commissioning activities.
  6. Recognized Health, Environment, and Safety certifications and training (OSHA, IOSH, or NEBOSH preferred).
  7. Excellent communicator and management of customer relations.
  8. Fluent in English.
