Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to safeguard commercial towers.
  • Create, maintain, and update emergency response plans.
  • Lead and manage a skilled security team to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Schedule staff and manage last-minute book-offs when required.
  • Complete training and development for new and existing staff.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, access control, and other security technologies to identify and respond to potential threats.
  • Enforce rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Conduct performance reviews for staff.
  • Provide detailed written reports as required.
  • Collaborate with property management and external stakeholders to address security concerns.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a commercial tower.
  • Proven experience as a Security Manager or in a senior security management role.
  • A degree or college diploma in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively resolve client issues in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access preferred.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and present data in business meetings.
  • Ability to identify issues with personnel and develop/implement an action plan to address.
  • Experience in scheduling, operations, CCTV monitoring, and access control systems.
  • Ability to make quick, sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
