Job Summary

The Fraser Health Authority is seeking a skilled Healthcare Staffing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staffing team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining staff rotations to meet the needs of our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and evaluate staff rotations to ensure compliance with collective agreement requirements, operational needs, and budget constraints.
  2. Collaborate with clients, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to develop and implement new and revised rotations.
  3. Provide education and training on rotation development to clients, including rotation-related policies, procedures, and processes.
  4. Responsible for the selection, evaluation, development, and termination of staff, as required.
  5. Develop and implement performance standards, supervise designated staff, and determine applicable training and orientation requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, supplemented with three to five years of recent related healthcare experience utilizing a computerized scheduling program, including one year of supervisory/leadership experience.

You will also need to demonstrate the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous, and create the conditions for people to succeed.
