Job Title: Child Care Assistant
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Care Assistant to join our team at Rayyan Family. As a Child Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to infants and children in a home-based setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children, engaging in activities that stimulate their cognitive and social development.
- Maintain a scent-free and non-smoking environment, adhering to our health and safety policies.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Criminal record check and ability to provide references.
Working Conditions:
- Employer's home with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
- Public transportation available for travel.
Personal Suitability:
- Client focus, flexibility, initiative, and patience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Language: English
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Work Term: Permanent
