Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at A Child's World Family Child Care Services of Niagara. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Collaborate with early childhood educators to design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the overall well-being of children.
- Storytelling and Creative Activities: Engage children in interactive storytelling, teach songs, and facilitate craft activities that foster creativity and imagination.
- Record Keeping and Support: Assist early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records and providing administrative support as needed.
- Child Guidance and Development: Guide and assist children in developing essential life skills, such as proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children by maintaining knowledge of licensing regulations and adhering to established protocols.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in early childhood education or a related field is an asset.
- Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
- Language: English.
- Work Conditions: Physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain attention to detail and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
