Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Field Placement Advisor to join our team at Humber College. As a key member of the Faculty of Social and Community Services, you will be responsible for connecting students with field experience opportunities, liaising with host supervisors and faculty advisors, and managing a database of field experience related information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Connect students with field experience opportunities and facilitate their placement process
  • Liaise with host supervisors, seminar instructors, and faculty advisors to ensure a smooth placement experience
  • Manage a database of field experience related information and maintain accurate records
  • Perform administrative tasks related to Work-Integrated Learning, including data entry and reporting
  • Uphold the FSCS values of compassion, integrity, respect, self-awareness, and inclusion in all interactions with students, external and internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience
  • Exceptional administrative, interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, exercise good judgment, and effectively resolve conflicts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Human Service fields such as Social Service, Community Development, Addictions and Mental Health, Behavioural Science, Community Justice, or job development experience
