**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Professional to provide high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.

**Responsibilities:

  • To deliver evidence-based nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  • To utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
  • To facilitate timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and services offered.
  • To ensure safe transfers and discharges of residents.
  • To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the diverse needs of our residents.

**Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent degree.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others, providing compassionate and supportive care.
  • Awareness of each resident's individuality and respect for their need for self-respect and privacy.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, including the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other pertinent statutes.
  • Medical clearance, including but not limited to TB tests.
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
  • Clear Criminal Record check.
  • All staff must provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.

**Compensation Package:

Our competitive compensation package includes a salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer opportunities for professional growth and development.
