The Business Development Director will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding Trimac Energy's market presence. This individual will lead and inspire a sales team to achieve ambitious sales goals, foster client relationships, and develop strategies aligned with the company's vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage deep understanding of the energy sector, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to develop informed sales strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with energy companies, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to strengthen Trimac Energy's market position.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive market growth, expand client base, and increase revenue.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team to optimize their performance and support professional growth. Set performance goals, monitor results, and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to keep Trimac Energy at the forefront of industry changes.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align sales strategies with broader company objectives.
  • Work with the Risk Management team to ensure that all contracts and agreements adhere to sector-specific safety, legal, and regulatory standards.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, analyze data to identify improvement areas, and present insights into senior leadership.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant graduate degrees are preferred.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the energy or transportation sector.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid vacation, sick time, and pension plan.
