About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing the mechanical components of our vehicles from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical systems from concept to production, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, purchasing, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering.
  • Participate in the development of performance criteria, validation plans, and execution of system validation.
  • Conduct studies, analyses, and calculations to guide technicians and project managers in their work.
  • Work on the development, design, and testing of various mechanical systems for BRP vehicles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Ability to apply mechanical principles, tolerancing, and material resistance.
  • Familiarity with the principles of operation and construction of motorized vehicle systems.
  • Experience with predictive calculation tools.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Strong learning and adaptability skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Availability for occasional travel to our manufacturing sites.
