Job Opportunity: Surface Designer for Vehicle Engineering

We are seeking a skilled Surface Designer to join our Vehicle Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and validation of various surface systems for our recreational vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop comprehensive models of aesthetic parts with complex surfaces and technical drawings (GD&T) during the development of the vehicle from the prototype phase to the production launch.
  2. Support the workshop in the assembly, testing, and validation of prototype vehicles.
  3. Collaborate with designers and engineers in the design and development of new parts, systems, and vehicles.
  4. Work closely with various suppliers and internal teams, including design, production, purchasing, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering.
Requirements:
  1. A technical college diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical or plastics engineering, or relevant design experience.
  2. Strong understanding of mechanics and good 3D visualization skills.
  3. Experience in 3D modeling and surface design.
  4. Proficiency in software such as Catia V5 or Solidworks.
  5. Excellent communication skills in English and French (written and spoken).
  6. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take on challenges.
  7. Strong interest in finding creative solutions to problems and a desire to contribute to the team's success.
