JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled mechanical designer to join our engineering division, reporting directly to the Vehicle Engineering Team Leader. This role is crucial in shaping the design, development, and validation of various mechatronic systems for recreational vehicles.

YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop detailed parts modeling and technical schematics (GD&T) throughout the vehicle development lifecycle, from prototypes to production.
  • Assist in the assembly, testing, and validation processes of prototype vehicles.
  • Engage actively in configuring vehicle specifications.
  • Collaborate with fellow designers and engineers in the creation and enhancement of new components, systems, and vehicles.
  • Work alongside various suppliers and coordinate with design, production, purchasing, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering teams.

THIS POSITION IS IDEAL FOR YOU IF YOU POSSESS:

  • A technical college diploma or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent design experience.
  • A solid grasp of mechanics coupled with strong 3D visualization skills.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as Catia V5 or Solidworks.
  • Effective communication skills in both English and French (written and spoken).
  • A passion for tackling challenges collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A keen interest in devising innovative solutions to emerging problems, recognized for your creativity.
